President Prabowo Subianto has reaffirmed his commitment to achieving prosperity for all Indonesian people. Prabowo stated that he has been sworn to defend the nation and the state since his youth.

This was conveyed by Prabowo during his keynote address at the 28th anniversary of the PAN party at JCC, Senayan, Jakarta, on Friday (18/09/202<0xC2>6). Prabowo expressed his readiness to dedicate his life to Indonesia so that one day this nation becomes an honourable country and its people live in prosperity.

“We want our people to be prosperous; since I was young, I have been sworn, and I am ready for that. For 18 years, I have been ready to die for this country. I want to defend my nation to see a time when Indonesia is honourable and the Indonesian people are prosperous,” he said.

Prabowo stated that he no longer wishes to see any Indonesian people suffering from hunger. He also expressed his hope that no parent would be left in confusion when their child is ill, nor should any child go to school in a state of hunger.

“There should be no Indonesian children suffering from stunting or lacking nutrition, resulting in weak bones, weak muscles, or weak brain cells that cannot compete with other nations; I do not want to see that,” he said.

Prabowo reaffirmed his oath to see a prosperous Indonesia, stating he is indifferent to experts who criticise him.

“I swear to see a prosperous Indonesia; that is my oath. It is up to the experts who consider themselves experts, so smart that they become foolish,” Prabowo remarked, which was met with loud cheers from PAN members.
