Prabowo: I Stop All Leaks for Free Meals and Bridge Construction

President Prabowo Subianto has expressed his commitment to stopping fraudulent practices involving the inflation of state budget spending. He stated that budget leakage has so far reached 30 per cent of the total state budget. He claimed that from the first few months of his leadership, the savings achieved amounted to IDR 300 trillion. “This is what we use for free nutritious meals, this is what we use for the bridges mentioned earlier. We are building 5,000 bridges by December 2026. 5,000 bridges. If necessary, next year we will build more,” he said.
