Prabowo: I Believe PDIP Will Also Defend the Nation and State

President Prabowo Subianto has expressed appreciation for the political parties supporting his government coalition. Prabowo is confident that the parties within his government’s ranks will continue to stand by him. This was conveyed by Prabowo during his speech at the 28th PKB Anniversary event at JCC Senayan, Jakarta, on Thursday (23/4/2026). The event was attended by general chairpersons and senior figures from various political parties. “Today I feel supported. I am confident that all coalition parties are of one breath, one soul, and stand together with me,” said Prabowo. Prabowo then mentioned the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP). He expressed his belief that PDIP holds the same position in defending the nation and state of Indonesia. “And in the end, I believe PDIP will also defend the nation and state of Indonesia,” he said. Prabowo is confident that all parties uphold the spirit of patriotism. He asserted that no party would be disloyal to the nation and state. “That is my instinct. My conscience. Because we are all patriots. All children of Indonesia. It is impossible for a child to be disloyal to the Motherland,” he added. Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka was also present at the 28th PKB Anniversary that evening. Party leaders in attendance included Golkar Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia, Democrat Chairman Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), PKS President Al Muzammil Yusuf, and PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas). Also present were party elites such as Gerindra Daily Chairman Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, NasDem Treasurer Ahmad Sahroni, PAN Secretary General Eko Patrio, Golkar Treasurer Sari Yuliati, PDIP Central Board Member Djarot Saiful Hidayat, Democrat Secretary General Herman Khaeron, and PSI Deputy Chair Isyana Bagoes Oka.
