Prabowo: I Believe PDIP Will Also Defend the Nation and State

President Prabowo Subianto expressed appreciation for the coalition parties supporting his government. Prabowo is confident that the parties in his government’s ranks will continue to stand by his side.

He made the remarks during a speech at the 28th anniversary celebration (Harlah) of PKB at JCC Senayan, Jakarta, on Thursday (23/4/2026). Various party chairmen and senior political figures attended the event.

“Today I feel supported. I am confident that all coalition parties are of one breath, one soul, and stand together with me,” Prabowo said.

Prabowo then touched on PDI Perjuangan. He believes PDIP stands in the same position when it comes to defending the Indonesian nation and state.

“And at the end of the day, I believe PDIP too will defend the nation and state of Indonesia,” he said.

Prabowo is convinced that all parties embody a spirit of patriotism. He affirmed that no party would be disloyal to the nation and state.

“That is my instinct. My heart tells me so. Because we are all patriots. All Indonesians. It is impossible for there to be a child who is disloyal to Ibu Pertiwi (the Motherland),” he continued.

Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka was also in attendance at PKB’s 28th Harlah this evening. Among the party chairmen present were Golkar Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia, Democrat Party Chairman Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), PKS President Al Muzammil Yusuf, and PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas).

Party elites were also seen, including Gerindra DPP Daily Chairman Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, NasDem Deputy Chairman Ahmad Sahroni, PAN Secretary-General Eko Patrio, Golkar Deputy Chairman Sari Yuliati, PDI Perjuangan DPP Chairman Djarot Saiful Hidayat, Democrat Party Secretary-General Herman Khaeron, and PSI Deputy Chairwoman Isyana Bagoes Oka.
