Prabowo Holds Rp31.3 Trillion in Cash from State Funds Recovery
The administration of President Prabowo Subianto has obtained additional state revenues from the recovery of state finances from corruption crimes or tipikor amounting to Rp31.3 trillion. These revenues stem from the value of state finance recovery by the Forest Area Regulation Task Force amounting to Rp11.4 trillion today, Friday (10/4/2026). This is added to the state funds recovery in October 2025 worth Rp13.25 trillion from corruption crimes in CPO facilities and their derivatives, as well as Rp6.62 trillion in December 2025. “Thus, the total cash that we have successfully saved is Rp31.3 trillion,” said Prabowo at the Handover of Administrative Fines and State Finance Recovery event at the Attorney General’s Office Headquarters, Jakarta, Friday (10/4/2026). He emphasised that the value of this cash, which will enter the state treasury as non-tax state revenues (PNBP), can be used to repair 34,000 schools scattered throughout Indonesia. “Last year, we only managed to repair 17,000 schools, meaning this money could double the state budget, where schools that have gone unrenovated for decades will be fixed,” Prabowo stated. “It can also be imagined if this helps renovate homes for low-income households; it could repair more than 500,000, meaning it can benefit two million of our low-income citizens,” he asserted.
