Prabowo Holds Private Meeting with Dasco at the Palace, What Did They Discuss?

President Prabowo Subianto held a private meeting with Deputy Speaker of the DPR Sufmi Dasco Ahmad. Prabowo received reports on several strategic matters from Dasco.

The moment of the meeting was uploaded to the Cabinet Secretariat’s Instagram account on Thursday (16/4/2026). The meeting took place at Istana Merdeka, Jakarta.

“Today, President Prabowo Subianto received the Deputy Speaker of the DPR RI, Prof Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, at Istana Merdeka, 16 April 2026, to receive reports on several strategic matters upon President Prabowo’s return from his overseas visit,” stated the caption of the post.

In the meeting, Dasco conveyed the latest developments in the political situation, including national security and the economy. In addition, Dasco also reported inputs from the legislature.

“Deputy Speaker of the DPR RI Prof. Sufmi Dasco conveyed several developments in the political situation, national security, and the economy, as well as reported several inputs from the DPR’s legislative function to the Government,” he said.
