Prabowo Holds Meeting with Luhut and Others in Hambalang to Discuss GovTech Refinement

President Prabowo Subianto received the Chairman of the National Economic Council (DEN), Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, along with members of the council at his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Tuesday, 14 July 2026. Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya explained that the meeting addressed the latest developments in the national economy and strategic measures to strengthen Indonesia’s economic resilience amid global dynamics. “The DEN also reported on the progress of refining GovTech as part of accelerating the government’s digital transformation,” said Cabinet Secretary Teddy. He stated that the refinement of digital-based government services is directed at improving data accuracy so that various government programmes can be received by the truly entitled public. “Thus minimising targeting errors, strengthening the effectiveness of aid distribution, and realising increasingly modern, efficient, and transparent governance,” he said. The meeting was also attended by Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Rini Widyantini, Minister of National Development Planning/Head of the National Development Planning Agency Rachmat Pambudy, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, and National Economic Council members Mari Elka Pangestu, Chatib Basri, Firman Hidayat, Tubagus Nugraha, and Pantro Pander Silitonga. Also present were Special Assistants to the President Dirgayuza Setiawan and Agung Gumilar.
