Prabowo Holds Meeting on Giant Sea Wall, Several Officials Gather at the Palace

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - President Prabowo Subianto summoned several ministers to the State Palace on Monday (20/4/2026). The meeting is said to be related to the plan for constructing a giant sea wall or Giant Sea Wall.

From CNBC Indonesia’s observations, the President Director of PT Pindad (Persero), Sigit P. Santosa, entered the palace grounds first. This was followed by the Deputy Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (Wamen KP) and Head of the North Coast Authority Management Agency, Didit Herdiawan Asha, and the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Brian Yuliarto.

“I don’t know (what the agenda is), but perhaps it’s about the Giant Sea Wall, but I’ll check first, and I’ll let you know later,” said Brian to reporters.

Brian stated that his side would assist the national strategic programme.
