Prabowo Holds Limited Meeting with Dasco, Prasetyo, and Sugiono

President Prabowo Subianto held a limited meeting with several of his close associates at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Thursday (16/4). The moment of the meeting was uploaded by Deputy Chairman of the DPR, Sufmi Dasco, via his personal Instagram account. Dasco attended the occasion alongside the State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister (Menlu) Sugiono, and Deputy Minister of Agriculture (Wamentan) Sudaryono. The three are close associates of Prabowo in the Gerindra Party. During the occasion, Prabowo had a brief one-on-one conversation with Dasco. Quoted from the caption of the post, Dasco stated that the meeting discussed the national political, security, and economic situation. He also reported on the legislative agenda in the DPR. “Received by President Prabowo Subianto to convey several developments in the national political, security, and economic situation as well as to report some inputs from the DPR’s legislative function to the Government at Merdeka Palace, 16 April 2026,” wrote Dasco. When contacted separately, Dasco did not respond when asked about the discourse on a reshuffle or cabinet shake-up that has been gaining strength in recent times.
