Prabowo Holds Limited Cabinet Meeting on Village Cooperatives and Downstreaming

President Prabowo Subianto summoned ministers and agency heads for a limited meeting at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Thursday (23/7/2026). The session is set to discuss the Merah Putih Village/Sub-district Cooperatives (KDKMP) and the downstreaming programme. “The Merah Putih Village Cooperatives. I think that is it, but I am not entirely sure yet. I just brought plenty of materials,” said Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa upon arrival at the Presidential Palace complex. Separately, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia stated that the limited meeting would not only cover KDKMP but also the downstreaming programme. “Including matters related to cooperatives, economic development, and downstreaming,” he said. Those seen attending the meeting included Coordinating Minister for Human Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar, Cooperatives Minister Ferry Juliantono, Head of the Poverty Alleviation Agency Budiman Sudjatmiko, and Head of the Development Control and Special Investigations Agency Aris Marsudiyanto.
