Prabowo Holds Limited Cabinet Meeting at Palace Today
President Prabowo Subianto held a limited meeting with several of his aides in the Red and White Cabinet at the Presidential Palace complex in Jakarta on Wednesday afternoon, 23 July 2026. Based on observations, a number of coordinating ministers were present, including Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar, and Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono. Also in attendance were Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration and Corrections Yusril Ihza Mahendra, and Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Djamari Chaniago. Other officials present included Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Cooperatives Minister Ferry Juliantono, Agriculture Minister Amran Sulaiman, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, and Investment and Downstreaming Minister Rosan Perkasa Roeslani. The Head of the Poverty Alleviation Acceleration Agency (BP Taskin) Budiman Sudjatmiko and the Head of the Development Control and Special Investigation Agency (Bappisus) Aris Marsudiyanto also arrived at the palace. Finance Minister Purbaya, when met before the meeting, stated that the agenda included a discussion on the ‘Red and White Cooperatives’ project. ‘It seems so. But I am not entirely sure, I just brought a lot of materials,’ he said. Separately, Bappisus Head Aris Marsudiyanto said that President Prabowo consistently evaluates the government’s strategic programmes. ‘Of course, there are many obstacles and technical disruptions, and these are always evaluated. That is why he constantly evaluates the free nutritious meals programme, the National Nutrition Agency, the Red and White Cooperatives, fishing villages, and so on,’ Aris stated. He added that Prabowo wants these programmes to be directly felt by all Indonesian people to ensure equitable development. ‘And this evaluation, of course, involves various relevant ministries and institutions at all times,’ he added.
