Prabowo Holds Limited Cabinet Meeting at Palace Today
President Prabowo Subianto held a limited meeting with several of his aides in the Red and White Cabinet at the Jakarta Presidential Palace complex this afternoon.
Based on Tempo’s observation, the ranks of coordinating ministers were in attendance. Among them were Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan; Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno; Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar; and Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, also known as AHY.
Also present were Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections Yusril Ihza Mahendra, as well as Coordinating Minister for Politics and Security Djamari Chaniago.
Others included Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Minister of Cooperatives Ferry Juliantono, Minister of Agriculture Amran Sulaiman, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, and Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Rosan Perkasa Roeslani.
In addition, Head of the Poverty Alleviation Acceleration Agency (BP Taskin) Budiman Sudjatmiko and Head of the Development Control and Special Investigation Agency (Bappisus) Aris Marsudiyanto also reported to the Palace.
Minister Purbaya, when met before the meeting, said today’s agenda was a discussion of the Red and White Cooperatives project. “It seems so. But I don’t know for certain yet; I’ve just brought along plenty of materials,” Purbaya said on Wednesday, 23 July 2026.
Separately, Bappisus Head Aris Marsudiyanto said that, in principle, Prabowo continually evaluates his government’s strategic programmes.
“There are certainly many obstacles and technical disruptions, and those are always being evaluated. That’s why he evaluates the free nutritious meals programme, or the National Nutrition Agency, the Red and White Cooperatives, fishing villages, and so on, at every opportunity,” Aris said.
Aris stated that Prabowo wants his flagship programmes to be felt directly by all Indonesian people in order to spread development more evenly. “And this evaluation, of course, takes place at any time, involving the various relevant ministries and agencies,” he added.
