Prabowo: Happy Eid al-Fitr, Let Us Strengthen Unity Amid the Nation's Challenges

President Prabowo Subianto has extended Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah greetings. On behalf of the government and personally, Prabowo offered Minal Aidin wal Faizin to all Indonesian people.

“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Peace be upon you and the mercy and blessings of Allah. My fellow compatriots wherever you may be. Praise be to Allah the Almighty who has brought us all together on this day of victory,” said Prabowo in a video uploaded to the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube channel on Friday (20/3/2026).

“I, Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, on behalf of myself, my family, and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, extend Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah greetings. Please forgive me physically and spiritually. Minal Aidin wal Faizin,” he continued.

On this Eid al-Fitr occasion, Prabowo invited all people to make the day of victory an opportunity for mutual forgiveness, strengthening relationships, and reinforcing unity as one nation amid various national challenges.

“Let us utilise this Eid al-Fitr moment to forgive one another, strengthen our bonds, and bolster our unity as one nation in the midst of the various challenges we face,” he stated.

He also emphasised the importance of maintaining togetherness as one big Indonesian family, by working harder, helping each other, and collaborating. Prabowo hoped that all the worship performed would be accepted by Allah the Almighty, and that the Indonesian nation would always be showered with mercy and blessings.

“Let us continue to strengthen our togetherness as one big Indonesian family. Let us work harder, help one another, and together build a more just, more prosperous, and stronger Indonesia,” he said.

“May Allah the Almighty accept all our worship and always bestow mercy and blessings upon the Indonesian nation,” Prabowo added.
