Prabowo Greets Attorney General and Police Chief Simultaneously: Always Close Together

President Prabowo Subianto created a light-hearted moment during a mass mortgage contract event for the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP) scheme in Batang, Central Java, on Thursday, 30 July 2026. While preparing to deliver his speech, the President greeted Attorney General ST Burhanuddin and National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo simultaneously.

After initially greeting the Attorney General and the Indonesian National Armed Forces Commander, Prabowo noticed the Police Chief sitting next to the Attorney General. He then repeated his greeting, prompting both officials to stand and salute together. ‘I’ll repeat that. Attorney General, National Police Chief. Always close together,’ Prabowo remarked.

The President also took time to inspect a subsidised house occupied by Rahma Yuliani, a security guard. Accompanied by Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas Maruarar Sirait, Prabowo later travelled by buggy car to the mass contract signing location within the Puri Delta City housing complex.

Several cabinet ministers attended the event, including State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, Coordinating Minister Airlangga Hartarto, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi, Culture Minister Fadli Zon, Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman, Religious Affairs Minister Nasaruddin Umar, Forestry Minister Raja Juli Antoni, and Agrarian and Spatial Planning Minister Nusron Wahid. Central Java Governor Ahmad Luthfi, West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi, and East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa were also present.
