Prabowo made these remarks during his address at the Full Cabinet Meeting at the State Palace on Friday, 13 March 2026.
“The world is full of uncertainty, and we see that crisis has struck many nations. We must address this crisis, but the economy must continue operating and the people must remain at ease,” Prabowo stated.
President Prabowo stressed that Indonesia still possesses the strength to drive the wheels of its economy. He called upon all cabinet ministers to work diligently for the people.
“We still have the strength and capacity to ensure that the machinery of life does not come to a halt. The situation in broad terms remains controllable,” he said.
Prabowo also urged the ministers of the Red and White Cabinet to deliver optimal services during the 2026 Eid exodus, prioritising comfort and safety for all Indonesian people.
“We must ensure that this year’s exodus proceeds well, safely, comfortably, and joyfully. Prioritise road safety and prepare all aspects thoroughly,” he concluded.
Earlier, President Prabowo reminded the Indonesian nation to remain optimistic and confident that truth will ultimately prevail. With strong determination and commitment, the President believes that the shared aspirations of the Indonesian people can be achieved.
“We must be confident that in the end, what is true will triumph. That we will achieve what we aspire to with clear and steadfast resolve, God willing, what we aspire to shall be accomplished together,” he stated.
The Head of State also reiterated his responsibility as president to protect all Indonesian people and preserve national unity.
