The meeting took place in Hambalang from Tuesday night (March 17) until early Wednesday, according to Head of the Government Communication Agency (Bakom) Angga Raka Prabowo, when contacted from Jakarta on Thursday.

He explained that the forum served as a venue for in-depth talks on government strategies to address imminent challenges, providing the president an opportunity to “answer important questions currently under public scrutiny.”

The government, he added, expected the meeting to help build public optimism regarding national progress and transformation.

“Mr. President remains fully committed to strengthening synergy with various elements of the nation and embracing all stakeholders to work hand in hand to develop the country,” Angga concluded.

Bakom uploaded several Instagram photos on Prabowo’s official account @presidenrepublikindonesia, showing the meeting held at a roundtable, with the president seated between senior journalist Retno Pinasti and political consultant Hasan Nasbi, who once headed the Presidential Communication Office.

Visible just across from the head of state on the green table were writing tools and several documents and books, including a red-covered file titled “President Prabowo Subianto’s Presentation.”

The president was also joined by former finance minister Muhammad Chatib Basri, noted as an economist and lecturer at Harvard University; senior journalist and Narasi media founder Najwa Shihab; and Rizal Mallarangeng, columnist and observer who established the Freedom Institute.

Mardigu Wowiek Prasantyo, content creator, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, also participated in the discussion.
