Prabowo Gathers Ministers at Hambalang for Limited Meeting

President Prabowo Subianto gathered ministers for a limited meeting at his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on Monday evening, 13 July 2026. Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto stated the meeting covered various topics, one of which concerned energy availability. “One of the agendas discussed was related to the price of fuel oil specifically for fishermen,” Airlangga said after the meeting, as broadcast by the Presidential Secretariat. According to Airlangga, Prabowo requested that the government set a specific fuel price for fishermen with vessels sized 30–200 gross tonnage. He set the price at Rp 15,000 per litre. Meanwhile, for fishing vessels under 30 GT, fuel has been distributed at a price of Rp 6,800 per litre. Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia said the meeting also discussed the government’s efforts to assist fishermen, including by providing fuel subsidies for their vessels. Bahlil expressed hope that the energy subsidy scheme for fishermen would help their operations. “We will soon issue a decision from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to be followed up,” he said. The meeting in Hambalang was attended by a dozen ministers. Among those present were Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan and Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto. Also in attendance were Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, and Minister of Defence Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin. They were joined by Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Investment and Downstream Industry Rosan Roeslani, and Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi. Other ministers, such as Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto; Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita; and Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency Nusron Wahid also attended the meeting in Hambalang. Other officials such as Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, Head of the National Research and Innovation Agency Arif Satria, and Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Supervisory Board Dony Oskaria were also seen participating in the meeting.
