President Prabowo Subianto and his entourage arrived at Haneda Airport in Tokyo, Japan, on Sunday (30/3) at 7:10 p.m. local time, to conduct various bilateral and business meetings.

Indonesia and Japan have maintained a comprehensive partnership for 68 years in several strategic sectors, ranging from economy and politics to social and cultural aspects. In recent years, relations between the two countries have continued to show a positive trend.

The visit is said to reflect the close friendship ties that have long been established between Indonesia and Japan, built on the foundation of mutual trust and respect.

The President is scheduled to receive several major business leaders and witness the signing of several investment agreements from major Japanese companies in Indonesia during his visit to Tokyo, Japan.

President Prabowo departed for Tokyo from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport in Jakarta on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. WIB.

During the visit, the President was accompanied by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.

President Prabowo’s departure was seen off by Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, along with Minister of Defence Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, and National Police Chief General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
