The Forest Area Law Enforcement Task Force (Satgas PKundangan PKH) has once again handed over funds amounting to Rp13.2 trillion in administrative fines on Tuesday (10/6).

During a speech at the handover ceremony held at the Attorney General’s Office complex in Jakarta on Tuesday afternoon, Prabowo stated that the Task Force has completed eight handovers to the state, totalling Rp52 trillion.

“Today, once again, we are witnessing the tangible results of the hard work of the Satgas PKH, which consists of the 12 institutions mentioned earlier, working together to save and secure the nation’s wealth,” said Prabowo.

“Ladies and gentlemen, this is the eighth time such an event has occurred. The total cash handed over is approximately Rp52 trillion, or about US$3 billion, which we have saved over the last two years,” he added.

In addition to the handover of Rp13,241,335,681,910, Prabowo reported that the Task Force has also successfully reclaimed forest areas spanning 259,230 hectares.

According to Prabowo, the Task Force’s duty in enforcing forest area regulations is not easy. He noted that the challenges are significant due to active resistance.

“We all know this resistance comes from elements that benefit from corruption, elements that benefit from fraud, and elements that benefit from the theft and robbery of state wealth. We know they are powerful,” Prabowo remarked.

He further noted that certain parties have attempted to obstruct the Task Force’s work using various methods, including funding demonstrations and spreading hoaxes on social media.

“Believe that the truth will prevail. Believe that we are on the right path; we do not hesitate. Even if they have hundreds of trillions, even if they pay buzzers, manipulate algorithms, attack us on social media, or fund demonstrations, we will not be intimidated. We are with the people, and we are prepared to die for the people,” said Prabowo.

During the handover process at the Office of the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, large stacks of Rp100,000 notes, reaching approximately three metres in height, were visible in the main lobby.

The total amount handed over reached Rp13,241,335,681,910.13. This breakdown includes Rp3,475,738,523,741 from forestry administrative fines, Rp8,229,846,923,898 from non-tax state revenue (PNBP) via the Attorney General’s Office through tax receipts from Task Force follow-ups, and Rp1,535,750,234,271 from the handling of special tax crimes.

Witnessed by Prabowo, the funds were handed over to the state through the Ministry of Finance. In this eighth phase of handover, the Task Force also surrendered 259,230.73 hectares of forest area that has been successfully secured.
