President Prabowo Subianto departed for East Java Province for a working visit on Tuesday, 23 June 2026. Prabowo is scheduled to inaugurate a national road in Sampang Regency and attend the closing of the 2026 National Conference of Alim Ulama (Munas) and Grand Conference (Konbes) of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) in Bangkalan Regency. According to an official statement, Prabowo and a limited entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta at approximately 09.00 WIB. The head of state’s departure marks the start of a series of agendas scheduled for a single day. Upon arrival in Sampang Regency, Prabowo will inaugurate a 1,151-kilometre road segment spread across Indonesia, which forms part of the implementation of the Presidential Instruction on Regional Roads (IJD). Following the agenda in Sampang, Prabowo will continue his journey to Bangkalan Regency, where he is scheduled to attend the closing of the 2026 National Conference of Alim Ulama and Grand Conference of Nahdlatul Ulama at the IAI Syaichona Mohammad Cholil. Accompanying President Prabowo on the flight to East Java were Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
