Prabowo Flies to Gorontalo for 2026 National Farmers and Fishermen's Week

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - President Prabowo Subianto departed for Gorontalo Province for a working visit on Wednesday (24/6/2026). The head of state is scheduled to attend the peak event of the 17th National Farmers and Fishermen’s Week (PENAS) held in Gorontalo Regency.

According to an official statement, Prabowo and a limited entourage took off using the presidential aircraft from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in East Jakarta around 6:00 a.m. Western Indonesia Time.

Upon arrival in Gorontalo Regency, Prabowo is scheduled to head directly to the Limboto Sport Center, the venue for the peak PENAS event. The activity features a range of strategic agendas, including the exchange of agricultural innovation and technology, dialogue with policymakers, and the strengthening of business partnership networks to support increased productivity and national food self-sufficiency.

Accompanying Prabowo on the flight to Gorontalo were Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
