Prabowo Extends Special Thanks to PDIP at DPR Plenary Session

President Prabowo Subianto expressed special appreciation to the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP). The appreciation was conveyed by Prabowo while presenting the Bill on the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) for the 2027 Fiscal Year along with the Financial Note and Supporting Documents at the Nusantara Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Friday (14/8/2026). In his speech, the head of state expressed his hope that the House of Representatives (DPR) would immediately discuss the provisions for organising the Mineral and Strategic Commodities Exchange. Prabowo also requested that the provisions for organising the exchange be issued as soon as possible. ‘I am grateful that there is now very synergistic cooperation between the government and the DPR,’ he said. According to Prabowo, this does not mean there is no democracy. There must be democracy in Indonesia. ‘We must be supervised, we must be criticised, but we must work quickly for our people,’ he stated. ‘And special thanks once again to PDIP. Actually, this is not Prabowonomics, this is Marhaenism. It would be difficult for PDIP not to support this,’ he continued.
