Prabowo Extends Eid al-Fitr Greetings: Let Us Forgive One Another and Strengthen Unity

President Prabowo Subianto has conveyed Eid al-Fitr greetings for 1447 Hijriah to all Muslims in Indonesia and around the world. The message was delivered in a video aired on the Presidential Secretariat’s YouTube channel on Friday, 20 March 2026.

In his address, President Prabowo extended greetings on behalf of himself, his family, and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, while seeking forgiveness in body and soul.

“I, Prabowo Subianto, President of the Republic of Indonesia, on behalf of myself, my family, and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia, extend Eid al-Fitr greetings for 1447 Hijriah,” stated President Prabowo.

Furthermore, the Head of State encouraged the entire society to make the Eid al-Fitr moment an opportunity for mutual forgiveness, strengthening familial bonds, and bolstering unity as one nation.

“Let us utilise this Eid al-Fitr moment to forgive one another, strengthen our ties, and reinforce our unity as one nation amid the various challenges we face. Let us continue to strengthen our togetherness as one big family, the Indonesian nation,” he said.

In addition, President Prabowo urged all elements of the nation to work harder. “Let us work harder, help one another, and together build an Indonesia that is more just, more prosperous, and stronger,” stated the President.

Concluding his message, President Prabowo offered prayers that all the good deeds of Muslims be accepted by Allah SWT and that the Indonesian nation be continually granted mercy, blessings, and strength in moving forward.

“May Allah SWT accept all our deeds of worship and continually shower His mercy and blessings upon the Indonesian nation,” expressed President Prabowo.
