Prabowo expresses gratitude to Free Nutritious Meal programme officers across the nation
Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto has personally expressed his gratitude to all officers involved in the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme serving in every corner of the country.
Prabowo conveyed this appreciation while attending the National Consolidation of the MBG Programme, initiated by the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) at SICC, Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday. The event carried the theme “500 Billion Meals Challenge: Building Indonesia’s Future Generations Through Nutrition – An Inspiring Session”.
Addressing thousands of participants—including heads of Nutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG), nutritionists, supervisors, volunteers, cooks, drivers, and MBG partners—Prabowo specifically expressed his thanks for their dedication and service.
“Thank you, brothers and sisters, for being here. Thank you once again for your service in remote and difficult areas. Thank you for your dedication and your loyalty,” Prabowo stated, according to official reports.
For Prabowo, the success of the MBG programme is inseparable from the hard work of field officers. These individuals carry out their duties daily across various regions, including areas facing significant geographical challenges and difficult access.
The President also stated that MBG implementers are the spearhead in ensuring Indonesian children have access to nutritious food, which serves as a vital foundation for their growth and future development.
Prabowo noted that the success of the MBG programme is determined not only by sound policy but also by the dedication and integrity of those operating on the ground. Consequently, he urged all personnel to continue working with a spirit of service, maintaining the quality of service and placing the interests of the people as the top priority.
The national consolidation was attended by approximately 12,173 participants and 5,873 partners involved in the implementation of the MBG programme across various regions in Indonesia. The event also served as a platform to strengthen coordination between the National Nutrition Agency, partners, and all programme implementers to expand service reach and ensure the programme operates effectively in supporting the creation of a healthy, strong, and superior Indonesian generation.
