In his briefing during the Government Working Meeting at the Presidential Palace, President Prabowo raised optimism among the bureaucrats who have been running the government for approximately 1 year and 6 months.
“The purpose and objective of this working meeting is an opportunity for me to convey directives; it can be said that for over a year we have been carrying out our mandate as the people’s representatives since October 2024,” said President Prabowo in front of the state officials as he began his briefing.
“Alhamdulillah, our government, in which you all are part of the administration I lead, has been in power for 1.5 years; alhamdulillah, we have been able to control the direction of development, the direction of our nation’s state,” continued the President.
Amid global geopolitical dynamics full of uncertainties, President Prabowo assessed that his government has been able to pass through various challenges well.
“We have been able to navigate and go through dangerous things, but in this 1.5 years, alhamdulillah, we have proven that our government is effective, our government is reliable, and our government can carry out state duties correctly and well,” said Prabowo.
The President then continued his positive assessment of his government, evidenced by various achievements, which the President said can be measured mathematically and have physical manifestations in the field.
On the same occasion, in the first 20 minutes of his briefing, President Prabowo also reminded the bureaucrats of potential threats faced by many countries, including Indonesia. These threats include food crises, energy crises, and water crises.
Furthermore, the Head of State also reminded the bureaucrats of threats that may arise from technological advancements.
The President highlighted threats from fake news and AI-manipulated content, such as deepfakes.
