President Prabowo Subianto has revealed that Indonesia’s economy is set to become the fourth best in the world, ahead of France, Germany, and the United Kingdom. He noted that many global experts have already predicted this.

This was conveyed by Prabowo while inaugurating 1,204 graduates of the Applied Government Science programme from the Institute of Home Affairs Governance (IPDN) Class XXXIII of 2026 as Young Civil Servants at the IPDN Parade Ground in Jatinangor, Sumedang Regency, West Java, on Wednesday, 29 July 2026.

“The great aspiration is on the verge of success. All global experts predict that in 25 years, Indonesia will be the fourth largest economy in the world, above France, Germany, and the United Kingdom,” Prabowo said.

Prabowo conveyed that the aspiration to realise Indonesia as a developed, modern, and independent nation capable of providing prosperity for all its people is drawing closer to reality.

He stressed that the Young Civil Servants are the next generation who will hold the baton of government leadership and determine the success of Indonesia’s future development.

“The future belongs to all of you. We work and serve to pave the way for you. You are our children whom we prepare to guard this Republic after we are gone,” Prabowo stated.

Prabowo emphasised that the Young Civil Servants must prepare themselves to become the best leaders capable of driving the government bureaucracy and ensuring that every development programme is implemented effectively.

The Head of State stressed that the success of various ideas, plans, and government policies depends heavily on proper implementation on the ground.

“You must become the best leaders. You are the drivers of the government bureaucracy, the determinants of development success in the field. The greatest ideas, the grandest plans, and the best policies, if not implemented on the ground, then those great ideas will fail, and the best plans will not be achieved,” he said.

President Prabowo reminded that Indonesia is a large country with abundant potential and natural wealth. According to the Head of State, this immense potential has long made Indonesia a target of various foreign interests, so national unity must be maintained.

“Divide et impera, divide and rule. That is their law, that is their science. Divide et impera, divide and rule. Divide between tribes, divide between religions. Divide between races, divide between ethnic groups, divide between factions,” he said.
