Prabowo Establishes Economic Growth Task Force, with Airlangga as Chair
Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto has established a Task Force for Accelerating Government Programmes to support the enhancement of economic growth, led by Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto as Chair I.
The formation of the task force was determined through Presidential Decree (Keppres) No. 4 of 2026 on the Task Force for Accelerating Government Programmes to Support the Enhancement of Economic Growth.

The task force has the duty to coordinate the acceleration of government programme implementation to support economic growth enhancement, which includes, among others, the Economic Package Programme, Economic Stimulus Programme, Government Priority Programme, Main Programmes in several ministries/institutions, and other programmes based on the President’s directives.
In addition, the task force is tasked with establishing integrated and collaborative strategic steps for accelerating government programme implementation to support economic growth enhancement, conducting monitoring and evaluation of the realisation of supporting budgets for government programme implementation, and establishing breakthrough steps to resolve strategic issues quickly and accurately.
The task force membership consists of Chair I, namely Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto, and Chair II, namely State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi.
Deputy Chair I is Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Deputy Chair II is Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board Rosan Roeslani, and Deputy Chair III is Minister of National Development Planning/Head of the National Development Planning Agency Rachmat Pambudy.
The task force membership also involves 27 ministers and institution heads, including Interior Minister Tito Karnavian, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Agriculture Amran Sulaiman, Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf, Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Agency Dony Oskaria, National Police Chief General Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo, Attorney General ST Burhanuddin, and Head of the National Nutrition Agency Dadan Hindayana.
In carrying out its duties, the task force may form working groups and a secretariat. The secretariat is based at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs and is tasked with providing technical and administrative support.
The task force shall hold coordination meetings at least once every two months or as needed, and report task implementation to the President through Chair I periodically every six months or as required.
“All costs required for the implementation of the task force’s duties and functions shall be sourced from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget of the respective ministries/institutions and/or other lawful sources in accordance with applicable laws and regulations,” states the regulation.
The Presidential Decree was issued by President Prabowo in Jakarta on 11 March 2026 and takes effect on the date of issuance.
