President Prabowo Subianto has stated that the Young Praja of IPDN Class XXXIII of 2026 will be the generation that takes up the baton of government when Indonesia enters the era of a developed nation. He therefore asked the graduates to prepare themselves to continue the development currently underway. He made the remarks during a speech at the Inauguration Ceremony for the Young Praja of IPDN Class XXXIII of 2026, at the IPDN Jatinangor Campus, Sumedang Regency, West Java, on Wednesday (29/7). Prabowo said the current government is working to pave the way for the next generation to lead Indonesia in the future. “In 25 years, you will be the ones running the actual government. Some of you will become governors. Perhaps one of you will stand at this podium. The future belongs to all of you,” he said. According to Prabowo, Indonesia’s aspiration is not merely to become a country with a large economy, but also to ensure that all its people live prosperously, earn a decent income, receive an education, have access to healthcare, and have adequate housing. He is optimistic that this target is getting closer to being realised. “This great aspiration is on the verge of success. All world experts predict that in 25 years, Indonesia will be the fourth-largest economy in the world, above France, Germany, and the United Kingdom,” said the Head of State. For this reason, Prabowo asked the newly inaugurated generation of Young Praja to continue this struggle properly. “We here are working, serving, to pave the way for all of you. You are our children whom we are preparing to guard this republic after we are gone,” he concluded.
