JAKARTA — President Prabowo Subianto has assured that basic commodity prices will remain stable ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 H/2026 M. He has also ensured that infrastructure facilities are prepared to serve the public during the Lebaran holiday exodus.

This was conveyed by Prabowo whilst holding a limited meeting with several ministers from the Red and White Cabinet at Merdeka Palace, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday (10 March 2026).

“The meeting discussed the stability of supply and prices of basic commodities, smooth distribution of logistics, as well as readiness of infrastructure and public services,” wrote Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya in a statement on Tuesday.

The Head of State therefore emphasised the importance of cross-ministerial and institutional coordination.

“The President emphasised the importance of cross-ministerial and institutional coordination in maintaining food availability, controlling the prices of basic necessities, and ensuring distribution runs smoothly to various regions,” said Teddy.

He emphasised that collaboration between ministries and agencies in ensuring readiness of various aspects ahead of the great day for the Islamic community represents a concrete manifestation of the government’s efforts and attention to the public.

It is therefore unsurprising that preparedness in the energy sector through to transportation modes has also received attention.

“Readiness of the energy, transportation sectors, and support from state-owned enterprises also received government attention,” said Teddy.

Also present were the Minister of Investment and Downstream Processing/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology Brian Yuliarto, the State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
