Prabowo Dismisses Collapse Predictions, Says Indonesia Is Growing Stronger

President Prabowo Subianto has addressed various predictions suggesting that Indonesia would collapse, stating that the opposite is true and the nation is becoming stronger day by day. He made these remarks during a plenary cabinet session at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday, 20 July 2026.

Prabowo expressed his appreciation for the performance of the entire Red and White Cabinet, noting that ministers were able to work independently without the need for constant supervision. “We are running the government by working very hard. Some of you work without being supervised because I concentrate on important matters,” Prabowo said during his briefing.

He stated that the ministers’ hard work had resulted in various proud achievements. Prabowo then addressed the predictions of national collapse, asserting that such assumptions had been proven wrong. “Not this collapse, this month it will collapse, but it turns out? It is getting stronger day by day,” he declared.

Prabowo highlighted that Indonesia is growing increasingly resilient amidst a world at war, noting that the country has achieved food self-sufficiency while other nations are panicking about food supplies.
