Dony, who also serves as Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Supervisory Board (BP BUMN), explained that the President’s instruction is part of the government’s major commitment to not only pursue quantity but also quality of investment. “This step is part of the government’s commitment to strengthen investor confidence, accelerate the entry of quality investment, and support sustainable national economic growth,” said Dony. As COO of Danantara, Dony is directly responsible for the investment management and operations of the country’s newest state-owned investment management body. As Head of BP BUMN, his task is to oversee the performance of all state-owned enterprises. Previously, President Prabowo Subianto summoned Dony Oskaria for a limited meeting at the Presidential Palace on Sunday. The meeting was also attended by several ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, focusing on the significant increase in global investor interest in the Indonesian economy. On that occasion, President Prabowo specifically received a report regarding foreign investor interest and various strategic investment opportunities being explored.
