Prabowo Delivers Speech in Front of Seized Cash Pile Worth Rp 11.4 Trillion

President Prabowo Subianto witnessed the handover of Rp 11.4 trillion from the Forest Area Regulation Task Force (Satgas PKH) to the state treasury. The funds, amounting to tens of trillions of rupiah from administrative fines to the reclamation of forest areas, were displayed during an event at the Attorney General’s Office in Jakarta on Friday, 10 April 2026.

Prabowo delivered a speech in front of the cash pile valued at a total of Rp 11,420,104,815,858. In his address, Prabowo expressed appreciation to the Satgas PKH, which he said had saved state money and assets. “Thank you to all of you working in the Satgas PKH. I have the highest appreciation for your sacrifices,” Prabowo stated in his speech.

According to the Presidential Secretariat, the Rp 11.4 trillion returned to the state treasury comes from various sources. These include the collection of administrative fines in the forestry sector worth Rp 7.23 trillion and non-tax state revenues from handling corruption crimes by the Attorney General’s Office worth Rp 1.96 trillion.

Additionally, there are tax receipts for the period January to April 2026 amounting to Rp 967.7 billion, state revenues through tax deposits for January-February 2026 from PT Agrinas Palma Nusantara worth Rp 108.5 billion, and non-tax state revenues (PNBP) from environmental fines worth Rp 1.14 trillion.

On the same occasion, Attorney General Sanitiar Burhanuddin symbolically handed over the total Rp 11.4 trillion to Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa. The ceremony symbolised the return of money and state assets collected by law enforcement to the state treasurer.

Prabowo stated that the handover of this money is part of the efforts to save state money and assets, which has occurred several times during his administration. “This is an honour and a joy for me that this has happened multiple times in the government I lead, which has only been 1.5 years,” he said.

Prabowo also mentioned previous incidents of state money recovery. The Gerindra Party Chairman noted that in October 2025, the government had collected Rp 13.2 trillion in state funds in a corruption case involving the provision of export facilities for crude palm oil and its derivatives.

Then, in December 2025, according to Prabowo, the government again saved Rp 6.6 trillion in state money. Thus, Prabowo stated that the total cash returned to the state treasury up to April 2026 amounts to approximately Rp 31.3 trillion.
