Prabowo Delivers Briefing to 1,500 TNI Unit Commanders
President Prabowo Subianto delivered a briefing to 1,500 unit commanders (dansat) from all branches of the Indonesian National Armed Forces today, Thursday, 30 April 2026. Prabowo gave his briefing at the peak event of the 2026 TNI Unit Commanders’ Roll Call held at the National Defence University in Bogor, West Java.
The Presidential Secretariat stated that TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto also delivered a report to the Head of State during the event.
The activity was attended by TNI leadership ranks from the highest levels to unit command levels across Indonesia, starting from the service chiefs of staff, main command commanders, to unit commanders at the battalion commander level.
In addition, several ministers, deputy ministers, and officials of ministerial rank were present. “This reflects the strong synergy between the defence sector and government elements in safeguarding national stability,” the Presidential Secretariat wrote.
Cited from Antara, the 2026 TNI Unit Commanders’ Roll Call was held centrally at the National Defence University campus since Wednesday, 29 April 2026. Several ministers from the Red and White Cabinet were reported to have provided materials to the TNI unit commanders. At least around 1,500 unit commanders from the three TNI branches participated in the two-day roll call series.
Some of the ministers who delivered materials included Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, and Minister of Agriculture Amran Sulaiman.
From the military institution, Commander Agus Subiyanto was said to have given direct instructions to the unit commanders. Then, Vice TNI Commander General Tandyo Budi Revita to the chiefs of staff—one of them being Army Chief of Staff General Maruli Simanjuntak—also contributed materials.
There were also speakers from the defence industry and national strategic industries, namely from PT Agrinas and PT Pindad.
