Prabowo: Danantara's Return on Assets Surges More Than 300 Per Cent
President Prabowo Subianto has reported that Danantara Indonesia has demonstrated exceptionally strong performance over the past year, achieving a return on assets (ROA) exceeding 300 per cent.
The President stated that this achievement demonstrates the significant potential of managing state-owned enterprise assets when handled in an integrated and professional manner. “I received a report and I am quite pleased; the return on assets for 2025, compared to previous years, has increased more than 300 per cent,” Prabowo said during his address at Danantara’s first anniversary celebration in Jakarta on Wednesday, 11 March 2026.
He described the establishment of Danantara as a strategic step to consolidate various state assets in order to deliver greater added value to the national economy.
Danantara currently manages nearly 1,000 companies, ranging from subsidiary to sub-subsidiary status within the state-owned enterprise structure. According to Prabowo, with solid unified control in the right hands, these state enterprises have now achieved extraordinary results.
Furthermore, Prabowo emphasised that this positive performance serves as evidence that Indonesia possesses substantial potential in managing its national wealth more productively.
“Our premise has proven correct—consolidation under single management with rational and world-class standards. The return on assets I received is above 300 per cent,” he stated.
Nevertheless, Prabowo cautioned that Danantara still has significant work ahead, particularly in generating net profits that exceed the total assets it holds.
The Government will continue to promote transparent, professional, and accountable management of state assets to ensure optimal results for the nation and country.
