Prabowo Congratulates PAN on 28th Anniversary: A Loyal Comrade in Struggle

President Prabowo Subianto has extended his congratulations to the National Mandate Party (PAN) on its anniversary. Prabowo described PAN as a loyal comrade in the struggle.

He made these remarks during the peak of PAN’s 28th anniversary celebrations at the JCC, Jakarta, on Friday (18/09/2026). Prabowo began by noting that Indonesia is currently facing various natural disasters.

“We also always remember our brothers and sisters who are still experiencing difficulties due to various natural disasters occurring in our country at this time,” said Prabowo.

He expressed that he felt honoured to be invited to the 28th anniversary of PAN and offered his well-wishes.

“I feel very honoured to be invited to commemorate 28 years of the National Mandante Party’s struggle. Happy 28th anniversary to the National Mandate Party,” he stated.

Prabowo also expressed being moved to be present amongst his comrades in the struggle.

“Ladies and gentlemen, it is actually difficult for me to speak. Because I am present in the midst of friends, loyal comrades in the struggle,” he said.

Prabowo noted that there are many types of friends and expressed his gratitude to PAN.

“Friends come in various groups. Friends have various classifications. There are friends in times of joy, there are friends when we are in power, there are friends in beautiful times. There are other types of friends, friends in times of hardship,” he remarked.

“Thank you, friends from PAN; I believe that is essentially the core of my speech,” he concluded.
