President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto stated that seized funds from corruptors will be utilised to improve schools and puskesmas so that the money is not stolen by unscrupulous parties.

“Everything will be repaired using funds that, if we do not save them, will disappear, consumed by corruptors, thieves, and robbers,” said Prabowo at the Attorney General’s Office building in South Jakarta on Wednesday (13/5/2026).

Renovating one puskesmas requires Rp2 billion. Thus, the government needs Rp20 trillion to repair 10,000 puskesmas across Indonesia.

Today, the Satgas PKH has saved Rp10.2 trillion in funds. Prabowo said this money can be used to repair puskesmas.

“Today, that means we can complete 5,000 puskesmas with Rp10 trillion. If next month another Rp10 trillion comes in from Satgas, plus Rp39 trillion from PPATK, that totals Rp49 trillion. That means we can easily repair all puskesmas,” said Prabowo.

He explained that in last year’s state budget, the government had repaired 17,000 schools. In 2026, the government is repairing 70,000 schools.

“Next year we will repair 100,000, the year after that 100,000, and the following year we will also complete all madrasahs and so on,” he clarified.

“So, brothers and sisters, once again, the work you are carrying out, implemented by Satgas PKH, the Attorney General’s Office, police, TNI, BPKP, PPATK—all of this now we prove to the people that we are determined to secure and save the nation’s wealth wherever it is,” he added.
