Prabowo Confident Indonesia Will Become World's Food Barn

President Prabowo Subianto believes Indonesia will become a world food barn. He conveyed this confidence during a briefing at the Plenary Cabinet Session in Jakarta on Monday. According to the Chairman of the Gerindra Party, Indonesia’s food situation is secure, and water is abundant, though it requires management to ensure no region suffers shortages. “Our land is sufficient. We have proven that we can turn swamps into rice fields, making unproductive land productive,” said Prabowo. “I am confident and believe we will become a world food barn. I believe that. I do not know in whose era it will happen, but I believe it,” he continued.
