Prabowo Commends Pancasila Day Ceremony, Summons Commander

President Prabowo Subianto stated that the Pancasila Day ceremony was conducted smoothly. Prabowo requested the ceremony commander to report to him.

The ceremony took place at the Pancasila Building courtyard, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Central Jakarta, on Monday, 1 June 2026. Prabowo served as the inspecting officer.

The event commenced with the singing of ‘Indonesia Raya’ and a moment of silence. This was followed by the reading of the Pancasila text by MPR Chairman Ahmad Muzani and the 1945 Constitution by DPD Chairman Sultan Bahtiar Najamuddin.

Prabowo then delivered a speech during the ceremony, which concluded with another rendition of ‘Indonesia Raya’.

After receiving the report, Prabowo commended the smooth execution of the ceremony and summoned the ceremony commander to present himself.

‘Thank you for the well-conducted ceremony; commander, report to me,’ Prabowo said.

The commander of the 80th Pancasila Day ceremony is Infantry Colonel Didin Nasrudin Darsono. Born in Sidoarjo on 5 July 1979, he is a 2001 graduate of the Military Academy (Akmil). His current position is Head of Territorial Section, 163/Wirasatya Bali Military Regional Command.

This year’s commemoration bears the theme ‘Pancasila as the Nation’s Unifier, Foundation of World Peace’, affirming that Pancasila’s noble values are not only relevant for maintaining national unity but also for fostering global peace. The historic event will also feature the official state emblem logo, Garuda Pancasila.
