President Prabowo Subianto has claimed that the government’s single-door export company for strategic commodities, PT Danantara Sumberdaya Indonesia (PT DSI), has managed US$10.5 billion in foreign exchange just two weeks after commencing full operations on 1 July 2026. He stated that the company’s formation was aimed at preventing the leakage of state wealth abroad through practices such as under-invoicing or transfer pricing. Prabowo revealed that the decision to establish the single-door export system was based on a comprehensive study by the Financial System Stability Committee (KSSK), which includes the finance minister, the governor of Bank Indonesia, and the board of commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), along with the chairman of the National Economic Council (DEN).
