Prabowo Claims His Work Programme Has Achieved Many Accomplishments and is Supported by the UN

President Prabowo Subianto believes that the government he leads has achieved several accomplishments. He conveyed this in his address at the government working meeting at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday, 8 April 2026.

The Head of State mentioned that he had long disseminated the core ideas for the welfare of the people long before becoming President of Indonesia.

“Even before that, for years I have been active as a political leader and as an economic leader and practitioner for years. I have led a political party for quite a long time since 2008, and before that I was involved in politics since 2004,” said Prabowo.

“I am also an economic practitioner as an entrepreneur, and I am also a former soldier, I am also a former Commander, I am also a former General of the Indonesian National Army. Over the years, I have been convinced and I have disseminated the core things that I believe are the foundation of the nation’s safety,” he continued.

Prabowo even stated that the core ideas that have been outlined into a work programme are also validated by the United Nations (UN).

“And this is validated by the UN, by the United Nations, validating this in what they have announced, ‘sustainable development’, where several years ago the UN had predicted the world crisis,” he said.

Prabowo emphasised that the crisis currently engulfing the world consists of three things: food, energy, and water.

“This has been championed by the UN, and I have advocated for it everywhere for years, for more than a decade, and I prove that if I am not mistaken, these books of mine over several decades have already been distributed or not to all officials here. This is evidence that for decades I have put it in black and white that the basic problems for the country are those three things: food, energy, water,” he stated.
