Prabowo Claims Government Has Resolved 110 National Issues in 18 Months

President Prabowo Subianto has stated that the government has resolved more than 110 strategic issues during the first 18 months of his administration, an achievement he regards as significant.

“By our latest count, we have settled more than 108 issues — 110 problems resolved in a year and a bit, 18 months of our government. This is no small achievement,” Prabowo said at a plenary cabinet session at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday (20 July).

The President said these accomplishments had been achieved without allowing the government to become arrogant. According to him, humility must be maintained even though the government has successfully resolved many problems.

“We remain humble, we do not want to beat our own chests, we must not and cannot get big-headed,” the President said.

During the session, Prabowo then requested that a book containing the list of resolved strategic issues be distributed immediately to all attendees.

Upon learning that the book had not yet reached every participant, the President repeated his request for the document to be handed out. “Distributed, not prepared — I want it distributed. It should be in front of every minister and deputy minister,” Prabowo said.

The President emphasised that these achievements were the result of the joint work of all members of the Red and White Cabinet over the past two years.

According to him, the government has recorded progress in resolving the various issues, and he said this work should be recognised as a form of appreciation for the efforts of the entire cabinet.

The President expressed hope that the Indonesian people would be able to appreciate their nation’s own successes if they wished to earn the respect of other nations. “Our achievements are considerable. History will record them,” Prabowo said.

The mid-year plenary cabinet session was held as a forum to evaluate the government’s performance ahead of the President’s state address in August 2026.
