Prabowo Calls Presidents of Middle Eastern Countries and Malaysian PM, What Did They Discuss?
President Prabowo Subianto contacted several presidents from Middle Eastern countries and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. He extended Eid al-Fitr greetings to these leaders of Muslim nations.

“Today, Monday 23 March 2026, President Prabowo Subianto continued his communications extending Eid al-Fitr greetings via telephone with friendly Muslim country leaders,” stated the Setkab IG post.
Setkab then detailed the Muslim country leaders contacted by Prabowo. One of them was Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
“Among them, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim,” said Setkab.
Setkab described this communication as prayers and hopes, as well as efforts to maintain closeness with these Muslim country leaders.
“This rapport serves as prayers and good hopes in maintaining closeness, support, and strengthening cooperation between countries, especially at this meaningful Eid al-Fitr moment,” stated Setkab.
“Previously, President Prabowo extended the same greetings via telephone with Turkish President Recep Erdogan, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Jordanian King Abdullah II, and Saudi Arabian Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman,” the caption continued.
