Prabowo: BUMN Dividends Surge 67% to Rp142.3 Trillion in 2025
President Prabowo Subianto has said that improvements in the governance and performance of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) are beginning to show significant results, with dividend payments reaching Rp142.3 trillion in 2025, an increase of 67 percent compared with 2024.
Prabowo said the increase came after the government made corrections to the reported profits of several SOEs. After the corrections, SOE profits in 2024 were recorded at Rp186 trillion, with dividends paid of Rp85.5 trillion.
“SOE dividends paid in 2025 reached 142.3 trillion, up 67 percent from 2024,” President Prabowo said at the Annual Session of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) and the Joint Session of the House of Representatives (DPR) and the Regional Representatives Council (DPD) in 2026 at the MPR/DPR building in Jakarta on Friday.
In 2025, SOE profits reached Rp326 trillion, up 75.3 percent from 2024.
President Prabowo said the Rp326 trillion profit was achieved without any manipulation of figures.
According to the President, the increase in SOE contributions to the state is clearer when dividends are compared with the state capital injections (PMN) provided through the state budget in the same year.
In 2024, SOE dividends after deducting PMN were recorded at Rp53 trillion. That figure rose to Rp138 trillion in 2025, an increase of 160 percent.
President Prabowo estimates that SOE dividend contributions will rise again in 2026 to reach Rp200 trillion, without any PMN.
“This proves that with sensible management, with no intention to deceive, our success can come very quickly,” the President said.
For this achievement, President Prabowo again expressed appreciation to the management and leadership of Danantara.
The Head of State even said that Danantara’s leadership deserved an award for its contribution to reforming SOEs.
“Once again I appreciate the management and leadership of Danantara. I think it is fitting that Danantara’s leadership could receive an honorary star in this independence day atmosphere,” President Prabowo said.
“SOE profits are now being used to accelerate our downstreaming efforts,” the President said.
On Friday, the MPR, DPR and DPD held the Annual Session of the MPR and the Joint Session of the DPR and DPD.
One of the agenda items was President Prabowo Subianto’s speech on the delivery of performance reports of state institutions and the State Address of the President of the Republic of Indonesia in the context of the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.
In addition to the speech, the government will also screen a video of government performance achievements.
The annual session is a state agenda to welcome the 81st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, which carries the theme “A Sovereign, Just and Prosperous Indonesia”.
