Prabowo Briefs TNI and Polri Officer Cadets

President Prabowo Subianto delivered a briefing to 1,000 officer cadets from various Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and Indonesian National Police (Polri) educational institutions at the Army Staff and Command School (Seskoad) in Bandung, West Java, on Monday, 25 May 2026. During the event, he also officially opened a library and museum at Seskoad. Attendees included cadets from the TNI Staff and Command School, Polri Senior Leadership School, as well as Sesko AD, Sesko AL, Sesko AU, and Polri Middle Leadership School. The occasion was shared by Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel Teddy Indra Wijaya in a video post on the official Cabinet Secretariat Instagram account (@sekretariat.kabinet). The video showed cadets awaiting instructions from the head of state, with a screen displaying “Taklimat Presiden Republik Indonesia”. It also featured the newly inaugurated library and museum. Notably, Prabowo previously conducted similar briefings for Seskoad cadets before assuming the presidency. In September 2022, while serving as Defence Minister, he addressed cadets of the 62nd Regular Education Program at Seskoad’s Integrity Academic Year 2022. During that session, he quoted Sun Tzu, stating that a commander or leader must possess wisdom, intelligence, sincerity, goodness, and firmness. He emphasised, “A commander must be resolute. Do not merely play on maps or radios. Stay calm during crises, avoid rashness, be cautious, mentally strong, and adaptable to change,” delivered on 12 September 2022 at Seskoad’s Gatot Subroto Building in Bandung.
