According to reports, Prabowo and PM Modi arrived at YIA at approximately 13:30 WIB on Wednesday (8/7/2026). Footage from the Presidential Secretariat YouTube channel showed PM Modi sharing a warm embrace with Prabowo while saying goodbye beneath the aircraft stairs.

It was previously reported that PM Modi had been in Indonesia for three days. On Tuesday (7/7), PM Modi was received by Prabowo at the Merdeka Palace to commence his state visit. During their meeting, the two leaders witnessed the signing of 16 cooperation agreements between the two nations.

Prabowo subsequently accompanied PM Modi on a visit to the DPR/MPR Building. That evening, Prabowo also attended a meeting with the Indian community at the JCC, Senayan.

On Wednesday (8/7), Prabowo and PM Modi visited the Prambanan Temple. During this visit, both parties agreed to realise cooperation regarding the conservation and restoration of the Prambanan Temple Complex.

The restoration programme, scheduled to run from 2026 to 2036, will focus on the renovation of more than 200 perwara temples in the second courtyard, most of which are currently in ruins.

This restoration project will employ modern technological approaches, such as LiDAR surveys, AI-based digital reconstruction, digital documentation, and the anastylosis method.
