Prabowo Awards Honours to 2 Police Units and 10 Regional Commands
President Prabowo Subianto awarded the Samkaryanugara Nugraha Sakanti honour to two work units of the Indonesian National Police and ten Regional Police commands during the 80th Bhayangkara Day ceremony. The presentation of the honour was accompanied by National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo at the Brimob Police Training Centre in Cikeas, Gunung Putri, Bogor, West Java. The presidential decree, read by the military secretary, stated the award was given as recognition to police units for their service to the community. The Samkaryanugara Nugraha Sakanti is a mark of honour for police units deemed to have provided benefits to the nation and state. The two work units receiving the honour were the Police Legal Division and the Police Finance Centre. Meanwhile, the ten regional police commands receiving the Samkaryanugara honour were Polda Metro Jaya, Polda Banten, Polda Central Java, Polda East Java, Polda West Java, Polda North Sumatra, Polda Riau, Polda Lampung, Polda Central Kalimantan, and Polda NTB. During the ceremony, Prabowo acted as the Inspector of Ceremony and inspected the troops alongside National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo from a Maung tactical vehicle. In addition to the award presentation, the event included a parade, demonstrations, a march-past, and a thanksgiving celebration. There was also an exhibition of the police force’s domestically produced primary and special equipment, as well as the distribution of social assistance to the community. A total of 9,000 participants were involved in the peak celebration of the 80th Bhayangkara Day, comprising personnel from the National Police, the Indonesian National Armed Forces, and community elements.
