Prabowo Attends Handover of Forest Area Enforcement Task Force Fine Proceeds Worth Rp 10 Trillion

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto witnessed the handover of funds from administrative fines for forest area violations amounting to Rp 10 trillion at the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung) building in South Jakarta on Wednesday (13/5/2026). This event represents the fifth stage of fines handed over by the Forest Area Enforcement Task Force (Satgas PKH) to the government. Based on observations by Kompas.com, Prabowo arrived around 1:50 PM Western Indonesia Time, wearing a light brown long-sleeved safari shirt and a black peci. Following his arrival, the event commenced with the singing of Indonesia Raya. The Rp 100,000 denomination banknotes from the fines and seizures were displayed in stacks reaching over approximately three metres in height. These piles of money filled the areas to the right and left of the event stage. In addition to Prabowo, several Cabinet Merah Putih officials were present, including Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Transmigration Minister Iftitah Sulaiman Suryanagar, Attorney General ST Burhanuddin, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Rosan Roeslani, Head of SOE Agency Dony Oskaria, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.
