Prabowo Attends First Anniversary Celebration of Danantara Investment Management Agency

President Prabowo Subianto attended the first anniversary celebration of the Investment Management Agency for Future National Strength, known as BPI Danantara. The ceremony was held at Wisma Danantara in Jakarta on Wednesday, 11 March 2026. Prabowo attended wearing a cream safari shirt beneath a white jacket and a black cap.

At the event, Prabowo sat between Danantara Chief Executive Officer Rosan Perkasa Roeslani and Danantara Board of Supervisors Chair Erick Thohir.

Several cabinet ministers attended the ceremony, including Coordinating Minister for Food Zulkifli Hasan, Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar, Foreign Minister Sugiono, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.

“This is Danantara’s first anniversary. Naturally, we are always grateful that we have been given good health by Allah Almighty, the Almighty God. We are also grateful for all the blessings bestowed by the Almighty upon our nation and country,” Prabowo said on Wednesday evening.

Prabowo explained that Danantara represents a consolidation of all assets owned by the Indonesian nation and state. Therefore, Danantara bears a heavy duty and responsibility to manage Indonesia’s wealth.

“We have named it Danantara, meaning Future National Strength. Strength refers to power and energy. Future means tomorrow. So Danantara must protect and manage the strength and energy of our nation for the future. That is how important Danantara is,” he said.

President Prabowo officially launched BPI Danantara on Monday, 24 February 2025. Danantara is an independent agency under the President with a mandate to manage and optimise government investments and assets of state-owned enterprises.
