Prabowo Attends 2026 Annual Session and Joint Session

President Prabowo Subianto arrived at the Nusantara Building in the parliament complex, Senayan, Jakarta, on Friday (14/8/2026) to attend the MPR Annual Session and the Joint Session of the DPR and DPD. Prabowo, wearing a black suit, white shirt, and a black peci cap, arrived at 08:08 WIB and was greeted by the leadership of the MPR and DPD before entering the building. The session will feature a report on the performance of state institutions and a state address by the President in conjunction with the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia. The President is scheduled to deliver two speeches, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The morning session includes the singing of the national anthem, a moment of silence, opening remarks by the MPR Speaker, a prayer by the Minister of Religious Affairs, and a video presentation on government achievements before the President’s address. The afternoon session will see the President deliver a state address and present the Draft Law on the 2027 State Budget along with its financial note and supporting documents to the Speaker of the DPR.
