President Prabowo Subianto stated that Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) personnel must adapt to the ever-changing global geopolitical landscape. He made the remarks while addressing over 1,000 TNI and Indonesian National Police officer cadets at the Army Staff and Command School (Seskoad) in Bandung, West Java, on Monday, 25 May 2026.

Major Cke Amarullah of Syndicate 08 Regular Education or Dikreg LXVII Seskoad relayed this after the Head of State’s briefing. For Amarullah, Prabowo’s guidance was filled with valuable lessons for future challenges.

“The most crucial point we summarise is that we must be adaptable. Adapting to developments. We know the geopolitical dynamics are changing extremely drastically. As TNI officers, we must be able to adapt,” Amarullah was quoted from the Government Communication Agency’s statement.

Amarullah added that Prabowo emphasised the need for TNI to align its doctrine with evolving times and challenges. According to Amarullah, the soldiers are ready to support the President’s vision and challenges.

“As TNI soldiers, we will fully support this 100%. Furthermore, as officers, we hope to address all the challenges given by President Prabowo to us as junior officers,” he said.

Participants in the Seskoad Bandung briefing included officer cadets from the TNI Staff and Command School, National Police Senior Staff and Leadership School, as well as Army, Navy, and Air Force Staff and Command Schools, and the National Police Middle Leadership School.

Before Prabowo’s briefing, Seskoad Commander Major General TNI Agustinus Purboyo reported the total number of participants. “Esteemed President, there are currently 1,095 people present before you,” said Agustinus.

This briefing, for the Seskoad Commander, is a historic moment. “Today is very special, Sir, as it is the first time an active President has personally attended and taught all Sesko students,” he said.
