Prabowo at 80th Bhayangkara Day: Polri's MBG Kitchens Are the Best

President Prabowo Subianto highlighted the Indonesian National Police’s (Polri) contribution to the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme. Prabowo firmly stated that the MBG kitchens built by Polri are the best. Prabowo made this statement while serving as the ceremony inspector for the 80th Bhayangkara Day at the Brimob Polri Training Centre in Cikeas, Bogor, West Java, on Wednesday (30/6/2026). Prabowo, accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, attended the ceremony. Prabowo mentioned that international observers have come to see the Nutritional Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) in Indonesia, including those built by Polri. Therefore, Prabowo did not hesitate to declare the SPPG built by Polri as the best. ‘Polri has also actively built more than a thousand Nutritional Fulfilment Service Units or kitchens for the MBG programme. And I do not hesitate to say here, the kitchens built by Polri are the best,’ Prabowo said. ‘And this is not just my opinion, many observers, many reviewers from world institutions have come to Indonesia to see these kitchens, and most of those they saw were the kitchens from Polri,’ he added. Prabowo also highlighted Polri’s contribution to building water boreholes and disaster management. Prabowo urged the force to maintain this spirit. ‘Polri also continues to build water boreholes, bridges and assist communities affected by disasters. This is the spirit that you must continue to maintain,’ he said.
