Prabowo Arrives in Renon Denpasar via Helicopter, Students Chant 'MBG'

President Prabowo Subianto arrived at the Puputan Margarana Niti Mandala Field in Renon, Denpasar, Bali. Prabowo travelled by helicopter after previously visiting the SRMP 17 Tabanan Middle School at the Mahatmiya Centre in Tabanan, Bali.

Observations in Denpasar showed that Prabowo arrived in the Renon area at approximately 2:22 PM WITA on Sunday (7/6/2026). Numerous residents and hundreds of students were waiting for the arrival of Indonesia’s top leader.

The crowd appeared to cheer as they witnessed Prabowo’s helicopter landing. Students were also heard chanting ‘MBG’, referring to the ‘Makan Bergizi Gratis’ (Free Nutritious Meal) programme, which is a flagship initiative of the Prabowo administration.

“Mr Prabowo, Mr Prabowo,” the students shouted, followed by repeated chants of “MBG, MBG, MBG.”

After disembarking from the helicopter, Prabowo appeared in his vehicle and greeted the public. He also distributed several T-shirts inscribed with ‘Rakyat Sejahtera Indonesia Raya’ (Prosperous People of Great Indonesia).

“I am happy to receive a shirt; I didn’t intend to come here, I was just out walking with my family,” said Iwan, one of the residents who received a shirt from Prabowo.

Prior to this, President Prabowo inspected SRMP 17 Tabanan at the Mahatmiya Centre in Banjar Anyar Village, Kediri District, Tabanan, Bali. His arrival there was met with marching troops and a Kecak dance performance by the students of SRMP 17 Tabanan.
